Skin Needling

A clinical treatment that uses microscopic needles to treat a variety of skin conditions ranging from ageing, enlarged pores, pigmentation, acne scarring and stretch marks. Also known as CIT (collagen induction therapy), skin needling will stimulate your natural collagen production to help improve the surface layers of the skin giving you a natural, youthful glow. Several treatments over a period of time will help to strengthen the epidermis leaving you with improved skin texture and tone.

The treatment involves using a cosmetic micro-needling device with tiny needles which are applied across the surface of the skin. The needles create tiny puncture channels that encourage an organic collagen renewal and regeneration response which help to hydrate and even skin tone.

Clients can expect to experience mild redness and sensitivity after having the treatment, this typically subsides within 24 hours. You may also experience slight shedding of the skin a few days after your treatment, this is a completely normal response which can last a couple of days.

For the first 48 hours post treatment, it is best to avoid excessive sun exposure, saunas, and exercise. It is also important to use a good sunscreen in the warmer weather to protect your skin from harmful UV rays.

Treatment time: 60 minutes
